Solved: The Mystery of Room for Dessert

Interesting how the pipsqueak can be stuffed at dinner, yet the mere whisper of dessert and she miraculously has room for sweets.  I asked Pigtails how this is possible, she says it's all about The Pouch.

Sorry about the midriff, she's hooked on her favorite size-4t strawberry PJs from kindergarten:

Five of you won za sack of Graziano's.  Bop over to see if you made the cut.

  1. I once read somewhere that the mind automatically leaves some room for dessert. So no matter how full you are, you still have room for that ice cream! haha

    1. Agree, my mind always makes room for ice-cream. Especially mint chocolate chip.

  2. This sounds like my husbands theory on ice cream... it just melts and fills in all the gaps.

My sister and I also used the pouch theory growing up (although we didn't have such an intricate theory worked out as Pigtails does)and now my sister has taught my kids the theory as well. There is always room for dessert!

    1. I told her the Urban Wife said to simmer down, and do you know why I'm craving frozen banana bites?

  5. HaHa! I love this! She is so sincere on The Pouch explanation too. That kid could face the Spanish Inquisition. Angela.

    1. I think she was worried "NO ICE CREAM FOR YOU!" unless she came up a logical explanation for the extra room for sweets.
